Born from a love of the canelé, the iconic French pastry with its golden crust and custard heart, buttE blends heritage with attitude.

Our name nods to butter, the heart of baking — and to the spirit of a butte: a form that stands by itself. Like a canelé, each piece is its own presence — compact, sculpted, and bold in character. We flipped the spelling on purpose, because we’re not afraid to stand apart, to play, to reinvent tradition and make it feel alive again.

Every canelé from buttE is small-batch baked, with time, precision, and a touch of mischief.
